A Letter from a Father to his Son's Coach:Dear Mike,
I know now that we will have our bumps in the road, and I want you to know that no matter what you will be my second dad. There are so many things that you have done for me and I don't know how I can ever repay you. I'm glad that God sent me your way, and that this is my destiny. I am going to go all the way. That's my goal and I know that you will help me with that goal, and when I reach it, you will be the first person that I share it with.
No matter what happens I know that you will be there for me when I need you. And I'm sorry for all my stupid actions. I learned that I need to be committed, and I'm willing to do that since you are willing to be committed to me. That's what basketball is all about commitment and I believe that it takes maturity to be a committed person. I just want you to know that I am striving to be a committed player and that I am willing to give up things so I can accomplish my goal to be the greatest. I may not have the ability to be the best but what should stop me of trying? Nothing! The only thing that will stop me, is me.
Basketball is my life. There will be things that I might want to do but all I have to remember is my dream. I think that if everyone has a dream they will think back and do all they can to accomplish it. So when someone decides to go to a party they need to remember there dream, and how that stupid decision will effect it. "Dreams are big, and whoever accomplishes their dreams are even bigger." That's what I think.
That's all I can say. Thank you so much...! :)
Love Always,
Billie #3
